OBJECTIVES

Established on April 2011, under the guidance of the Union Minister, Ministry of Hotel & Tourism Myanmar and a member of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association). The objective is to promote Myanmar as the tourism destination that covers its beautiful cities and various attractions thus encouraging tourists globally to explore the magical experiences unique to Myanmar.

CHALLENGE

Globalization is one major tourism challenge as there was no clear identity and positioning for Myanmar as destination, also to revamp the perception towards Myanmar as a developing country.

SOLUTION

A compelling strategy and avant-garde appearance have been developed to communicate Myanmar to the world. It includes the brand-mark developed and inspired by the Myanmar script, combined with its epithet as the golden land, to represent the story of their nation, including the usage of endless white thread graphic element throughout the wide range of branded applications to represent that there is a neverending journey in Myanmar. Meanwhile YumMyanmar being the nation's first international Food Festival has been programmed to create a more impactful nation branding
